Students who are studying undergraduate or graduate courses from more than 290 institutions will be able to apply for scholarships of BRL 3.600 from Santander, within a period of 1 year
Banco Santander has made registration available for the Santander Graduation 2022 program, which will offer 1.600 scholarships to students studying undergraduate and graduate courses in Brazil. This program is focused on supporting students to pay monthly fees, buy materials needed to take courses and contribute to the cost of food and transport.

Santander will provide 1.600 grants worth BRL 300 per month, over a period of one year (totaling BRL 3.600). To be eligible to win scholarships, those selected must maintain a high academic average, attend the institution where they graduate, in addition to being in a condition of social vulnerability.
According to Nicolás Vergara, who is the executive superintendent of Santander Universities in Brazil, the scholarship program has helped more than five thousand students since 2017. Nicolás also states that the institution recognizes the difficulties of university life due to to the many expenses, with needs such as housing, food, transportation, in addition to materials and tuition in the case of private universities. With that, the superintendent declares that Santander created the scholarship program with the aim of not only helping students financially, but also encouraging them not to give up on their careers.

How to apply for Santander scholarships
Scholarships in the amount of R$ 3.600,00 are available to more than 290 institutions that are registered in the “Becas Santander” program. At the financial institution website, it is possible to search the system for the participating universities and it is also possible to register to receive the aid.
Applications for the scholarship program will be open from January 17th to April 17th, 2022. After this period, applications will be evaluated and the results will be announced by Santander on May 23rd. Those approved in the process will receive an email informing that they have been awarded and will need to confirm their participation by May 30th, as well as learn about the rules of the scholarship program. Those not approved will also receive an email with the information that they were not selected.
