With the resumption of the school year, Niterói is offering more than 600 vacancies in free professional training courses on Digital Urban Platforms (PUDs). The initiative focuses on training in technology and innovation, preparing students to work in the creative economy. The February schedule includes workshops, lectures and workshops to complement the training.

Girls and Women in Science Week
As part of the special program, Digital Urban Platforms will hold the Week of Girls and Women in Science. The event will feature discussion groups, Green Science robotics workshops and the recording of podcasts focused on female protagonism in science and technology.
Infrastructure of Digital Urban Platforms
PUDs are technological spaces managed by the Municipal Department of Innovation, Science and Technology and are located in the Engenhoca and Santa Rosa neighborhoods. The centers offer free access to resources such as:
- Notebooks and Wi-Fi
- Interactive digital galleries
- Immersive environments with Virtual Reality glasses (Meta Quest 3)
- Gamer area equipped with modern video games
- Maker Culture Space with 3D printers, laser cutters and electronic embroidery machines, encouraging entrepreneurship and creativity
How to register for courses
Registration for free professional training courses is now open and can be completed in person at the units or through official website. All courses are free and guarantee certification for participants.
