The Department of Education, through Selection Notice 2025.1, is offering 11.456 vacancies for mid-level technical courses in the online format (EAD). The courses are taught by the Professor Antônio Carlos Gomes da Costa State Technical School (ETEPAC), in partnership with other institutions. The main objective of the free technical training courses offered is train professionals to work in their areas efficiently and in an up-to-date manner. The EAD modality combines online activities, carried out in the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA), with weekly face-to-face meetings at designated centers. Selection processes
Of the total number of vacancies, 80% are reserved for students from public schools, with half of this percentage reserved for candidates with a per capita family income of up to 1,5 minimum wages. 5% of the vacancies are reserved for adolescents in situations of socioeconomic vulnerability and another 5% for people with disabilities. The selection process for the free training courses will consist of an objective test, carried out remotely, covering questions on Portuguese and Mathematics.
Application requirements
Those interested in free technical courses must have completed high school for subsequent courses or be enrolled in the first year of high school for concurrent courses. Internet access, a computer compatible with the activities and the submission of supporting documentation, such as CPF, academic transcript and proof of income, when applicable, are also required.
