“The province of Alberta has some of the best wind, solar, bioenergy and geothermal resources in Canada. The digital transformation there is quickly becoming the biggest driver of new solutions and investments in technology by energy companies. Alberta's Energy and Environment sector digital transformation spending is projected to be C$5,8 billion through 2024, representing a quarter of digital transformation investment in utilities, renewables, oil and gas, and cleantech from Canada. In this way, it is worth understanding more about the market and the future of the sector in order to achieve development”, said Reis.
Celebration of the trade relationship between Brazil and Canada
In addition to strengthening the commercial relationship between Brazil and Canada, the festival celebrates the 'National Day of Canada', which takes place on July 1st. The date is the anniversary of the formalization of the union of three colonial provinces, which took place in 1867 between Canada, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. This was the milestone of the country's independence, as, with the event, it began to have greater internal political control.
Historical facts of the energy trade relationship between Brazil and Canada
All this potential in electrical energy in Canada is not new. In 1906, the 'Hydro-Electric Power Commission' emerged, which, years later, obtained authorization to generate and sell energy in the country. Subsequently, the energy trade relationship between Canada and Brazil began.
Ending the first day of the Canada Day CCBC Online Festival, the lecture “Quebec City”, takes place at 17 pm, dealing with: “Nucleus of creation and innovation in health in Canada”. On the occasion, the main works developed in the country and studies to further promote advances in technology in the Canadian electricity sector will be presented.
