Understand what changes in Hyundai's new SUV

The most important updates are to the second-row seats. The 7-seater Hyundai Creta continues to be available in 6- and 7-seater configurations, and in the first row, the Hyundai has removed the fixed center console that was placed between the seats in the older model. This frees up more space between the seats, as they now have individual armrests and you can easily walk to the third row from the second.

The second-row seats of the 7-seater Hyundai Creta now also feature extendable thigh support, ventilation and a ‘boss mode’ feature where the front passenger seat can be operated from the rear to open up more space. Additionally, there are rear sunshades and fold-out tables.

A big addition on the safety front is the inclusion of ADAS. Other equipment highlights include a voice-activated panoramic sunroof, power front seats, leatherette upholstery, a Bose sound system, dual-zone climate control, rain-sensing wipers, sequential turn signals, and a 360-degree camera among the key features.

Hyundai SUV delivers up to 160 horsepower

A Hyundai should keep the current 1.0 turboflex engine and may adopt the new 1.6 turbo, which produces around 160 hp, that already exists in the Indian market. This means that the 2.0-horsepower 167-liter naturally aspirated engine will be discontinued, as it will not meet the new emissions standards that will come into effect from January 1, 2025.
