A 14-year-old prodigy has surprised the scientific and medical community by creating an application capable of detecting heart disease in seconds, using artificial intelligence.
A 14-year-old teenager is turning heads with an innovation that could transform the way people diagnose heart disease. Siddharth Nandyala, originally from India and based in Texas, has developed a smartphone app called Circadian AI that can identify heart problems in just 7 seconds. The tool uses artificial intelligence to analyze heart sounds.
Application that listens to the heart and detects heart diseases
According to Times of India, Circadian AI works in a simple but effective way. Using the phone's own microphone, the app captures heart sounds and analyzes the data using advanced algorithms.
With this, in a few seconds, it provides an answer about the presence of possible cardiovascular diseases.

Good news and bad news: the bad news is that Earth's oxygen will run out; the good news is that we won't be around to see it.
According to reports, the system has already been tested on more than 15 patients in the United States and 700 patients in India, achieving 96% accuracy.
International recognition and support
The impact of the invention was so great that it caught the attention of authorities. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu praised the young man's talent. He is an inspiration to us all”, he said, guaranteeing full support to Nandyala’s projects.
The technology was presented at the Global Artificial Intelligence Summit in Hyderabad, where the teenager highlighted the focus of the application: facilitating diagnoses in regions with few medical resources.
Focus on accessibility
During his presentation, Siddharth explained that his goal is not just to create the most advanced technology. He wants Circadian AI to be a practical and affordable solution for communities that have limited access to hospitals or specialists.
In these regions, a simple cell phone can become a vital tool in saving lives. The young man highlighted that speed and ease of use are essential for the success of the project.
Early and promising trajectory
Siddharth Nandyala is no ordinary teenager. He is recognized as the youngest certified AI professional in the world, with certifications from Oracle and ARM.
He has already completed his studies at Lawler Middle School in Texas and is now studying for a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Texas at Dallas.
Circadian AI, with its proposal to democratize cardiac diagnostics, could become a silent revolution in global public health. And all this coming from the hands of a young man of just 14 years old.
