The new headquarters of Olsen S/A is taking shape in the industrial district of Palhoça, with the construction of the new factory progressing according to the established schedule. With a total area of 34 thousand square meters and an estimated investment of around R$ 80 million, the work is in the final phase of installing floors and preparing for the electrical grid infrastructure. The new plant is expected to be completed by August 2025.

At the beginning of construction, the city of Palhoça faced a significant flood, which brought unexpected challenges to the project.
As a preventive measure, the company chose to raise the ground level by 1,20 meters before starting the piling phase of the work.
This precaution was intended to ensure the stability of the building and avoid possible problems related to future flooding.
Currently, the work is focused on installing the floor, with a specialized design to support the heavy traffic of forklifts.
The floor is being installed over an area of 17.000 square meters and is designed to support a load of up to two tons per square meter.
The work includes strict leveling controls and a mirror-smooth finish to ensure the durability of the concrete and minimize structural damage.
