Businessman Paulo Octávio, president of Lide Brasília, officially announced the construction of a new shopping center in Planaltina, in the Federal District. The announcement was made during his participation in the program CB.Poder, produced in partnership between the newspaper Mail Braziliense and TV Brasília, shown on Friday (18).
The construction of the new shopping mall, recently approved with the release of the permit, is the result of a planning process that lasted almost a decade. “We finally managed to approve the mall and the permit to build it. I wanted to do this for a long time, but projects often take a long time. This one took almost ten years,” said Paulo Octávio during the interview.

A business expansion It is part of the company's preparation for its 50th anniversary, which will be celebrated in 2025. According to Paulo Octávio, the projects have been planned over the last few years.
“Without future projects, a company cannot move forward. In the construction sector, you buy land, design it, get government approval, and that takes years. There are projects that have been under development for five years and are now about to get off the ground,” he explained.

In addition to the two shopping malls, the businessman revealed other projects planned for the coming months in the Federal District. Among them are:
