ANDRITZ is investing in the construction of a state-of-the-art Service Center in Brazil that will provide maintenance and technical support for equipment in pulp and paper mills. This significant development, located in Três Lagoas, Mato Grosso do Sul, is seen as a strategic step to expand the company’s service and technical support capabilities. in the South American region.
As part of its expansion plans, the international technology group ANDRITZ aims to create approximately 130 new permanent jobs with this new center. The state-of-the-art facility is a reflection of ANDRITZ’s ongoing commitment to providing innovative, high-quality solutions to its customers. Strengthening Presence in Brazil
With this strategic investment, ANDRITZ significantly strengthens its presence in Brazil and expands its support to the local pulp and paper industry. The new Center will primarily serve the needs of pulp and paper mills in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul and adjacent areas, offering a wide range of services such as repairs, reconstructions, equipment upgrades and maintenance services. In addition, the Center will function as a manufacturing and distribution hub, improving the availability of strategic parts to meet the region's demands more efficiently.

Structure Details and Sustainability
The new center will be built on a 30.000 m² site, of which 6.000 m² will be dedicated to the workshop and an additional 6.000 m² will be preserved for environmental areas. Construction is scheduled to begin in December 2024, with completion scheduled for the first quarter of 2026. The project will generate approximately 50 direct jobs and 150 indirect jobs during the construction phase. Once fully operational, the center is expected to provide more than 130 permanent jobs, benefiting the local economy and strengthening the presence of the ANDRITZ Group in Brazil.

The facility will feature photovoltaic panels for renewable energy generation and cisterns for rainwater and process water collection, ensuring efficient use of natural resources. In addition, future plans include expanding the Center’s capacity to strengthen ANDRITZ’s position in the region and support its long-term growth strategy.
