Public notice published for the RJ 2023 Firefighter Contest with a salary of up to R$5.056,00

The opening of the new RJ 2023 Firefighter Contest (CBMERJ contest) was announced. The agency released the new selection criteria for 800 vacancies in two professions in the Official Gazette of the Union on the morning of this Thursday, January 19th.

The 800 vacancies are for entry into the positions of 670 vacancies in the Training Course for Soldiers and 130 vacancies for the Sergeant Military Musician training course. The authorization for the RJ 2023 Firefighter Contest was published in the Official Gazette on July 08, 2022. In August, the Universal Institute for Social Development (IUDS) was defined as responsible for the competition.

Applications begin January 23rd and run through March 12th. The tests will be carried out on the scheduled date of April 30. Of the total vacancies, 20% will be reserved for black and indigenous candidates and another 10% will be reserved for candidates with financial insufficiency, who will be certified by enrollment in the federal government's single register - CadÚnico.

Requirements to be able to participate in the RJ 2023 Firefighters Contest

To take office in the RJ 2023 Firefighter Contest, the candidate must prove:

· Be Brazilian;

· Be at least 18 years old at the time of nomination and up to 32 years old on the opening day of registration;

· If male, be a reservist of the Armed Forces or bearer of the Certificate of Exemption from Incorporation;

· Be up to date with your electoral obligations;

· Having completed high school or technical education and also having a driver's license (depending on the specialty);

· Possess the supporting documents of schooling and requirements for the position and qualifications;

· Have the physical and technical aptitude required to carry out the attributions of the position;

· Not responding to an exclusion process or not having been excluded or licensed, for disciplinary reasons, from any military institution;

· Have not been convicted of a crime or misdemeanor.

RJ 2023 Firefighter Contest Salary

The salary for a private soldier is R$ 2.791,72 and for a third sergeant R$ 5.056,46. The values ​​mentioned do not include the professional qualification bonus, which will be added to the salary after completing the training course.

Registrations

Entries for the RJ 2023 Firefighter Contest must be made online., by clicking here, between January 23 and March 12, 2023. A registration fee of BRL 61,50 will be charged. Candidates will be evaluated in several stages, including: Knowledge tests, of a classifying and eliminatory nature; Physical fitness test, elimination; Test of specific skills by knockout or by knockout and qualification, when applicable; health examination, exclusive; Review of documents, nature of deletion. Objective testing will take place on April 30, 2023 at 9 am at the location announced on April 20.

See the composition of the objective tests:

· 15 Portuguese language questions;

· 15 logical reasoning questions

· 30 specialty-specific knowledge questions.

The TAF will consist of the following exercises:

· Flexion/isometry of arms on the fixed bar;

· Trunk flexion (abdominal);

· Run of 2.400 meters;

· Swimming.
