Sete Lagoas stands out as an industrial hub with the inauguration of the new dsm-firmenich factory, which invested R$60 million in animal health.

Last Friday, October 18th, Sete Lagoas received the new factory dsm-firmenich, a company that will focus on the production of animal feed, supplements and additives for animal health. This venture, which involved a private investment of approximately R$60 million, marks an important step for the city, which is consolidating itself as one of the main industrial hubs in Minas Gerais. The new plant occupies an area of โ€‹โ€‹12 thousand square meters and is integrated into an existing space of 40 thousand square meters of the company, with an expected production of 120 thousand tons per year.

Sete Lagoas: attraction for investments

Sete Lagoas stands out for its location Intelligence, favorable topography and the reduction of bureaucracy in administrative processes, which facilitates the attraction of various ventures.

Mayor Duรญlio de Castro highlighted that the new dsm-firmenich factory could have been installed in another city, but faced difficulties in getting projects approved.

โ€œIn Sete Lagoas, we did everything in just 15 days,โ€ he said, highlighting the administrationโ€™s commitment to creating a favorable environment for new investments.

Job creation at the new dsm-firmenich plant and development

The inauguration of the new factory dsm-firmenich was a remarkable event, with the presence of authorities such as Governor Romeu Zema.

The governor emphasized the importance of the company's investment, which will generate approximately 300 jobs in the region.

He highlighted that the installation of the new unit is a significant step forward for the development of local agricultural activity, bringing technology and innovation to the sector.

The new dsm-firmenich factory and its role in the market

dsm-firmenich is the result of the merger between Royal DSM and Firmenich, creating a global giant in the area of โ€‹โ€‹nutrition and health, as well as perfumery and beauty.

With over 150 years of experience, the company has already consolidated its presence in Brazil since 2013, with the acquisition of Tortuga, and in 2022, with the purchase of Prodap.

The new factory in Sete Lagoas represents not only a step forward for dsm-firmenich, but also a new phase for the animal health market, with the expectation of meeting national demand and, mainly, that of the state of Minas Gerais.

The new dsm-firmenich factory in Sete Lagoas is an important addition to the region's industrial landscape, standing out for its investment in animal health and job creation.

This initiative promises to contribute to strengthening the local economy and position Sete Lagoas even more as an attractive hub for investments in the sector.

The new dsm-firmenich plant in Sete Lagoas not only represents a significant milestone for the company, but also strengthens the animal nutrition and health production chain in Brazil.

With the capacity to produce up to 120 tons per year, the facility is positioned to meet the growing demand for quality feed and supplements, contributing to improved productivity in livestock farming.

dsm-firmenich's investment in innovation and technology in production reflects a long-term vision that benefits not only farmers but also the environment, promoting more responsible and efficient practices in the industry.
