Evapco Group opens factory in Sorocaba, bringing a mega investment and 800 job openings over the next three years.
The City of Sorocaba participated in the inauguration of the new factory of the Evapco Group. The multinational company, which manufactures ventilation systems, chose Sorocaba to open its new unit. This R$200 million investment will generate 800 jobs in Sorocaba over the next three years, contributing to local economic development.
The new Evapco group factory
The Evapco Group is known for its operations in more than 25 countries and for its innovation and technology in the area of ventilation.
The new factory, installed in the old Wobben plant, in the Industrial Zone of Sorocaba, has already started operating.

The restructuring of the factory space was complete and aimed at meeting the group's demands.
Initially, 400 new job vacancies will be offered at the Sorocaba factory, while the other 400 job vacancies will be filled by transfers of employees working at the Itu and Indaiatuba units.

The mayor of Sorocaba, Rodrigo Manga, highlighted the importance of installing the new Evapco Group factory in the city.

Furthermore, the multinational's global CEO, Patrick Strine, highlighted Sorocaba's good conditions for receiving investments, such as infrastructure and tax incentives that facilitate the installation of new factories.
