Petrobras once again reduces the prices of kerosene and aviation gasoline, and airline tickets may become cheaper!
Petrobras informed that, on October 1st,, sales prices for asphalts will be 10,5% cheaper for distributors. In addition, the state-owned company will also adjust the prices of Aviation Kerosene (QAV) and Aviation Gasoline (GAV).
This is the third consecutive reduction in asphalt prices, which had already dropped by 6,4% in September and 4,5% in August, following market trends.
It is important to emphasize that the Brazilian market is open to free competition and there are no legal, regulatory or logistical restrictions for other companies to act as asphalt producers or importers.

In this way, the pricing method seeks balance with the market and follows changes in the value of the product and the exchange rate, up and down, but without passing on the daily volatility of international quotations and the exchange rate.
Gasoline and jet fuel prices will also be cheaper starting tomorrow (01/10)
Petrobras will also adjust the prices of Aviation Gasoline (GAV) and Aviation Kerosene (QAV), which as of tomorrow will see a reduction of 0,84% in QAV sales to distributors and 5,9% in from GAV.
According to Petrobras, price adjustments for gasoline and aviation kerosene are monthly and defined through a contractual formula negotiated with the distributors.
According to ANP regulation, the new prices will be available this site from October 1st, effective date.
