O MEC just launched More Teachers portal, an innovative platform that brings together free courses undergraduate, postgraduate, master's and doctoral courses for teachers from all over the country. The initiative is part of the program More Teachers for Brazil, which seeks to improve the training of educators and strengthen the quality of education in the country.
A new era for teacher qualification (MEC)
O MEC is investing heavily in the appreciation and qualification of basic education teachers. According to the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (inep), 33% of teachers still do not have adequate training for the subject they teachThis means that one third of teachers do not have the ideal qualifications to teach their subjects.
