New round of financing includes R$3,3 billion in working capital for producers and companies
O BNDES (National Bank for Economic and Social Development) has just released a emergency credit of R$ 5 billion for the support program for Rio Grande do Sul. This amount aims to strengthen the local economy and help companies and rural producers recover from recent impacts. Support for the agricultural sector and micro-enterprises
Of the total released, impressive $ 3,3 billion are intended exclusively for working capital for rural producers, agricultural cooperatives, cereal producers and input suppliers. A good part of this amount, around R$ 1,5 billion, will be directed to customers micro and small business. The idea is that these resources will help cover essential expenses, such as payroll, replenishment of stocks and maintenance of operations.

BNDES in partnership with more than 40 financial institutions
To facilitate access to this credit, the BNDES has partnered with more than 40 financial institutions in the state, including public and private commercial banks, credit unions and development banks. This way, entrepreneurs and rural producers can choose between different financing options to obtain support quickly and affordably.
In addition, the development bank also suspended payments on current loans for 12 months and extended financing for customers who suffered damage from recent floods. The measure already benefits customers of 464 municipalities in Rio Grande do Sul, with an amount of R$11,6 billion in emergency credit approvals and more than 5,6 thousand operations carried out since June.
FGI PEAC Solidarity Credit Guarantee Fund RS
Another highlight is the activation of the guarantee fund FGI PEAC Solidarity Credit RS, which offers credit guarantees for micro, small and medium enterprises in Rio Grande do Sul. This initiative further strengthens security for banks and cooperatives when granting credit, enabling more entrepreneurs to have access to the financing needed to resume their activities.
