Drone footage has revealed the scale of a new mega electric vehicle factory in China. The BYD factory, located in Zhengzhou, Henan province, is more than just a simple industrial plant.

BYD Factory – A city dedicated to car production
The BYD factory is being built in eight phases and, when completed, is expected to cover an area of 130 km² — bigger than San Francisco, in California, that has 121,5 km². The facility will dwarf Tesla's Nevada Gigafactory, which occupies 11,66 km². It is also equivalent to 18.207 football fields like Maracanã.
