Banco do Nordeste has a new public tender “in mind”. Notice will be released soon and BNB competition promises to offer up to 500 vacancies for secondary and higher education candidates.
After holding a recent public tender, Banco do Nordeste do Brasil (BNB) now announces the publication of a new notice expected by the end of January 2024. The institution has already hired the organizing committee responsible for this next competition, signaling progress in preparations for the selection of new mid- and higher-level professionals.
List of positions offered in the next BNB competition
The company chosen for the Banco do Nordeste public tender was Cesgranrio Foundation. The company was defined through a contract extract published in the Official Gazette of the Union. In this way, the publication of the notice becomes increasingly imminent.
According to the contract between BNB and Fundação Cesgranrio, the bank responsible for the next competition, the opportunities would only be for the position of Banking Analyst whose weekly working hours are 30 hours. However, you will be offered 500 vacancies for the positions of Banking Analyst at Banco Nordeste (410) and IT Technical Specialist (90), at medium and higher levels.

The BNB competition will evaluate candidates through an objective test that will cover subjects such as Portuguese Language, Banking Knowledge, Logical and Quantitative Reasoning. Assessments will be applied in the following cities:

Bank president comments on public tender
According to the president of BNB, Paulo Câmara, during an interview, he stated that a new public competition for Banco do Nordeste could be held in 2024, with 500 vacancies on offer. In another previous interview, Câmara had informed about a request for a notice with the focus on increasing the institution's staff.
According to the president, as the Union is the majority controller of Banco do Nordeste, it goes through it. Therefore, the presidency has to negotiate in the Federal District to open the BNB competition. However, it is necessary to do so, as it has been a while since a competition has been opened.
At the time, an internal survey was underway with the aim of obtaining the necessary positions and vacancies.
Despite this, Paulo Câmara highlighted the possibility of the new BNB contest offering opportunities in the areas of information technology and customer service. Paulo states that he wants to do this contest this year because it takes time, but everything will depend on authorization. But the company has been talking to the federal government and noted that the mind is different.

The last BNB competition was held in 2022, with 206 vacancies for Technical Specialist with salaries of up to R$6.269,76. Candidates in the last competition were evaluated through a single stage, consisting of an Objective Test, of an eliminatory and classificatory nature.
A skill and knowledge exam lasting 3 hours and 30 minutes was administered in the afternoon. The test consisted of 120 questions, with the judgment of each item being Right or Wrong.
