The free USP course that is driving registrations

The Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences (FFLCH) of the University of São Paulo announced the opening of registrations for the EAD Extension Course “Artificial Intelligence and the State: Regulation, Influence and Impacts”.

Part of USP's renowned Summer Courses series, this initiative offers a unique opportunity for those who wish to understand the relationship between Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the functioning of the State, addressing crucial questions about regulation, uses and impacts of these technologies in the public sector.

With 50 free places available, the course will take place from February 3 to 24, 2025 and will be held entirely remotely, using the Google Meet platform.

The course load is eight hours, divided into four classes, all led by experts in the field.

    The course will be taught online via Google Meet, with flexible hours to facilitate access. To participate, simply register through USP's APOLO platform.

    Registration is open from January 24, 2025, 09:00 a.m. to January 26, 2025.

    The selection of candidates will be made by electronic draw, following the criteria established in the notice.
