Beginning of a new era for Brazilian scooters
Yamaha announced the Fluo 125 ABS Hybrid Connected as the first hybrid motorcycle to be sold in Brazil.
The model, which initially hit the market in March 2022, returns in a 2025 version packed with innovations, maintaining its pioneering role in the sector.
Renewed design and mild-hybrid technology
With a completely revamped look, the Fluo 125 2025 features a mild hybrid system that promises to revolutionize the use of scooters in the country.
The auxiliary electric motor, integrated into the Power Assist system, comes into action at specific times, such as on hills, quick starts, overtaking and when there is a greater load, relieving the effort of the combustion engine.
This electric assistance, which lasts about three seconds, reduces fuel consumption and increases the scooter's efficiency.
According to Yamaha, the system provides savings of up to 12%, in addition to reducing pollutant emissions. All of this is monitored by the motorcycle's dashboard, which indicates when Power Assist is operating.
Stop-start: practicality and savings in everyday life
Another highlight of the model is the stop-start system, which automatically turns off the engine when the bike is stopped and restarts it when accelerating.
This feature not only contributes to fuel economy, but also helps reduce pollutant emissions, reinforcing Yamaha's environmental commitment.
Optimized performance and improved structure
The new Fluo 125 2025 is equipped with a 125 cm³ single-cylinder engine, capable of generating 8,3 hp of power at 7.000 rpm and 1,0 kgf.m of torque at 5.000 rpm. With CVT automatic transmission, the scooter offers a practical and smooth driving experience.
The front suspension uses a telescopic fork with 90 mm travel, while the rear has 88 mm travel.
The 12-inch wheels have tubeless tires, ensuring greater safety and stability. The braking system combines disc with ABS on the front wheel and drum on the rear, providing greater control in various situations.
Connectivity and modernity on board
The Fluo 125 2025's LCD panel has been completely updated, including new features such as the Power Assist indicator, clock and smartphone connectivity status via Yamaha Motorcycle Connect (Y-Connect).
This system allows you to view message and call notifications directly on the panel, as well as monitor the battery status of the connected cell phone.
Another highlight is the new USB Type A socket, which guarantees greater convenience for charging devices during journeys.
With this, the scooter adapts to the needs of modern motorcyclists, who seek practicality and connectivity in a single vehicle.
LED lighting and enhanced comfort
The scooter's optical set has been completely renewed, with LED high and low beam headlights, as well as updated position lights and turn signals with crystal lenses.
The rear light also follows the LED pattern, contributing to a modern and functional look.
With the comfort of the rider and passenger in mind, Yamaha has increased the length of the seat, ensuring greater ergonomics.
The scooter also offers a hook for bags weighing up to one kilo, front storage compartment, space under the seat with a capacity of 25 liters and easy access to the fuel tank, which holds up to 4,2 liters.
Model 2025 dimensions and colors
The Fluo 125 2025 has compact dimensions and weighs just 104 kg in running order, which makes driving in urban traffic easier.
It will be available in four color options: Racing Blue (Metallic Blue), Midnight Black (Metallic Black), Solar Red (Solid Red) and Crystal White (Metallic White), with different combinations of graphics and finishes on the wheels.
