Brazil is about to receive a new factory in the agro-industrial sector, with the inauguration scheduled for September 26. This venture marks just the beginning of the ambitious plans of the company responsible.

Excellent news for the economy of Piauí and for the agro-industrial sector: a new feed factory will be inaugurated in the city of Altos, on September 26, bringing more jobs and development to the region. The factory will specialize in the production of feed for broilers and promises to have a positive impact on the market, generating around 100 new direct jobs.

This investment not only strengthens local production, but also helps expand the company's reach to important markets, such as Maranhão. And, of course, it creates more opportunities for the local population. Want to know more details about this project? We'll tell you everything!

Factory will generate 100 direct jobs and boost the local economy

The town of Altos, in Piauí, was strategically chosen to receive the new feed factory. The location favors logistics and facilitates access to markets in the North and Northeast, which makes the enterprise even more competitive. With the creation of 100 new direct jobs, the inauguration of the factory is already a reason for celebration for the region's residents, who will have the opportunity to enter the job market in a growing sector.

In addition to direct jobs, the factory will also have a positive impact on the entire production chain. According to Victor Lima, president of Atlantic Agroindustrial, company responsible for the project, the idea is that local feed production contributes to a more competitive production chain, in addition to supporting the development of partners and broiler chicken producers.

Production capacity and high technology in the new factory

new feed factory will not only generate more jobs, but will also have an impressive production capacity. Initially, the factory will operate with one shift, producing around 5.260 tons of feed per month. However, the company already plans to double this production by implementing a second shift of operation, further increasing its capacity and impact on the market.

One of the great differences of this enterprise is the use of automation technology in the production process. The factory will be able to produce up to 30 tons of feed per hour, which optimizes the efficiency and quality of the products. In addition, the unit will have a battery of extruders for soybean processing, with the capacity to process eight tons per hour.

This level of automation not only improves efficiency, it also reduces waste, which is a big step towards sustainability in production.

Local production with grains from Piauí

Another interesting aspect of new feed factory is the fact that she will use grains produced in the state itself to manufacture the feed. The factory will work with corn, millet, sorghum and soybeans, all originating from Piauí. This further strengthens the local economy and creates a more sustainable production cycle, since the inputs will not need to be transported from other states, reducing environmental impact and logistics costs.

This choice of local inputs also benefits farmers in the region, who will have a constant demand for their products, encouraging agricultural production and promoting rural development in the state.

Planned expansion and new projects

The opening of the new feed factory is just the beginning of Atlântica Agroindustrial's ambitious plans for Piauí. According to Victor Lima, the company also aims to install a farm for commercial egg production in the state, further strengthening the poultry sector. This project should generate even more jobs and increase the region's competitiveness in the food market.

With new feed factory and the future egg farm, Atlântica Agroindustrial wants to consolidate its presence in Piauí and become a reference in the sector. The company already operates in the region, generating around 100 direct jobs, and with new investments, this number is expected to grow even more in the coming years.

The strategic location of the factory, close to the BR-101 highway and Maranhão, facilitates the distribution of feed and derived products, such as chicken and eggs, to other regions of Brazil. This places Piauí in a prominent position on the national agribusiness map, which may attract even more investment in the future.
