“Brazilian Elon Musk” promises to revolutionize the automotive industry with the opening of a 100% national factory. With a million-dollar investment, the expectation is to generate 4 jobs and produce 120 vehicles per year.

A new milestone in the Brazilian automotive industry is about to be set. While the eyes of the world are on the big names in the sector such as Toyota, Volkswagen, BYD and others, a Brazilian businessman, who calls himself the “Brazilian Elon Musk”, comes up with an audacious proposal: the creation of a 100% national factory that promises to generate 4 THOUSAND new jobs and produce annually 120 THOUSAND flex electric vehicles.

This bold initiative was announced by Flávio Figueiredo Assis, owner of Lecar, and is attracting the attention of investors and industry experts.

According to information from the Autoesporte website, the new factory will be installed in the city of Sooretama, in Espírito Santo, and will represent a significant investment of R $ million 870. This amount will be divided into R$ 240 million for the construction of the facilities e R$ 630 million in automation from the assembly line.

The businessman is seeking additional resources from both public and private investment banks to make the project viable.

Direct and indirect jobs

Assis' promise goes beyond numbers and figures. The construction of this factory 100 thousand square meters not only puts Sooretama on the automotive industry map but also has a direct economic impact on the region.

1.500 direct jobs will be created in the factory, in addition to 3.000 indirect jobs throughout the production chain. This economic boost is eagerly awaited, not only for the generation of jobs, but also for the potential dynamism of local trade and services.

According to Lecar, the annual production of 120 thousand vehicles will put the factory on an equal footing with large automakers already established in the country, such as Honda, which has a unit with the same production capacity in Itirapina (SP).

However, Assis highlights the viability of his project in comparison with those announced by other car manufacturers, which often prove unrealistic in practice. “Our investment is feasible, unlike the billions announced by other manufacturers that, in reality, do not materialize.”, said Assis.

Lecar 459: a flex electric sedan that promises innovation

While job creation and economic development are central aspects of this initiative, the design behind this new factory also deserves attention.

Lecar plans to start production at Lecar 459, an electric sedan that still only exists in virtual projections, but which is already causing a stir due to its innovative concept.

The model, which features a range extender never before seen on the market, promises to revolutionize the electric vehicle segment.

Innovative design and motorization

The Lecar 459 attracts attention from its design onwards. The front of the vehicle features tapered headlights and an absence of a grille. – a detail that may change in the final version due to the inclusion of a combustion engine in the front. The rear, with a coupe style, is cut from side to side by lights that accentuate its modernity.

The engine is another highlight: the 459 will be equipped with two engines – one 1.0 three-cylinder turbo flex, originating from Horse (a joint venture between Renault and Geely), which will operate exclusively as a generator, providing 122 horsepower e 22,4 kgfm of torque. On the rear axle, an electric motor 163 cv e 26,3 kgfm will be responsible for traction, ensuring acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in 10,9 seconds.

Autonomy and cutting-edge equipment

with a battery of 18,4 kWh, the Lecar 459 of the “Brazilian Elon Musk” promises to run until 100 km in all-electric mode, while the total autonomy can reach 1.000 km combining the two systems.

The model will have 4,35 meters long, 1,82 m wide e 1,52 m height, with a wheelbase of 2,70 m and a trunk with capacity for 530 liters.

In addition to the design and engine, Lecar promises to equip the sedan with a package of driver assistance technologies, the Adas.

Among the items provided are lane keeping system, adaptive cruise control, emergency brake assist e blind spot warning system.

Perspectives and expectations for the future

With the factory scheduled to open in August 2026, Lecar faces major challenges until then. The success of the Lecar 459 could not only consolidate the brand in the national market, but also open doors for new investments in technology and innovation in Brazil.

The question remains: do you believe that this project will come to fruition and change the panorama of the Brazilian automotive industry?

Yes, we must encourage our idealistic compatriots to carry out this wonderful project, which will also bring the productive power of the national industry!! It is essential that, at the beginning, the heart of the vehicle must use national components, which are the hybrid flex engine and the Power Train and batteries in the electrical part, although there we have our multinational WEG. Enough of losing other projects from the past, such as Gurgel, NBR, and so many others that are in the past, leaving us sad. Go ahead, Lecar, may positivity be with you completely, Flávio Figueiredo Assis!!!!

I am totally in favor of creating opportunities for employment and income, and for this to be used as investment in the country itself. I hope the government will be a partner, because things will only really happen if the government is interested... Just like the Chinese government did to ensure that China stopped being just a supplier of cheap labor and electronic components, and now delivers the final product, with high added value, in the case of BYD.

The truth, I know hypocrisy!

Our Weg, our agro, our company 😂😂😂
All that's missing is for other people's women to be "ours", there are Brazilians who think that everything belongs to everyone 😂😂😂 it really has to end!
It won't be 100% national, they'll import from China, whoever sees, will see!
Get used to reality!
