New selection process for the Brazilian Navy: Armed Forces announce the opening of notices with dozens of vacancies for those who wish to build a career or work temporarily in the Navy.

Two important Brazilian Navy competitions are underway, bringing great opportunities for those who dream of joining the Armed Forces. The selection processes promise vacancies for both those who wish to join as temporary military personnel and those interested in building a solid and long-lasting career in the institution. With notices about to be published, these competitions should attract candidates from various regions of the country, interested in stability, professional growth and the chance to serve Brazil.

Brazilian Navy (Marines) selection process

The Navy announced this Thursday (5) that the publication of the notice for vacancies in the Brazilian Navy for Marines is very close to happening. According to the Armed Force, the document will be published in January 2025. To compete for one of the vacancies in the Brazilian Navy selection process, interested parties must pay attention to the requirements demanded by the notice.

It is necessary to be Brazilian born or naturalized, to be 18 years of age or under 22 years of age on June 30, 2026. The candidate must also not be married, have formed a stable union and have children or dependents.

The Brazilian Navy selection process will consist of several stages, such as a written test, a physical fitness test (running, swimming, sit-ups and push-ups), as well as medical and psychological exams. The training course for those approved for vacancies in the Brazilian Navy will be held at the Almirante Milcíades Portela Alves Training Center (CIAMPA), in Rio de Janeiro, and at the Brasília Training and Instruction Center.

In the last Brazilian Navy selection process for Marines, launched in 2024, around 19 thousand candidates signed up to compete for one of the 1.680 vacancies offered. For next year, however, it has not yet been announced how many vacancies for the Navy will be made available.

Vacancies in the Brazilian Navy Temporary Officer R2

Another great opportunity that is very close to being launched is the notice for the selection of temporary workers aimed at the entry of Navy Reserve Officers 2nd Class (RM2). The Brazilian Navy selection process is expected to be published in the first half of December.

Candidates interested in the opportunity must have completed higher education to compete for one of the vacancies in the Brazilian Navy in the areas of Health and Health Support, Teaching Technique and Engineering.

The initial salary is R$9.070,60. In addition to the education level, the interested party must also be over 18 years old and at least 41 years old by the date of incorporation, be a volunteer and a Brazilian citizen.

The stages of the Brazilian Navy selection process include an objective test, verification of biographical data and documents, health inspection and physical fitness test. It is worth mentioning that the selection takes place through the Naval Districts, therefore, the interested party must register on the website of the DN that they are interested in.

Why pursue a military career?

Joining the Armed Forces is a decision that goes beyond choosing a profession; it is opting for a unique lifestyle, full of challenges, responsibilities and, at the same time, rewards.

Life military is guided by fundamental values, including commitment, discipline and hierarchy. Military personnel are challenged daily to maintain strict standards of behavior and conduct.

However, the military offers a variety of education and training opportunities, providing service members with specialized skills that can be applied both on and off duty.

A career in the military offers job security and a variety of benefits, including health care, life insurance, and financial support programs. Additionally, military members have access to subsidized housing and food programs.

It's not worth going to the Navy, with the current state of mismanagement.
