New Brazilian Navy selection process opens vacancies without a public exam. There are opportunities in several areas for candidates aged between 18 and 41.

The Brazilian Navy is calling for Brazilians interested in participating in a new selection process for vacancies without a competitive exam in the Voluntary Military Service as Temporary Corporal (Enlisted). The vacancies in the Brazilian Navy are distributed among the various Naval Districts in the country. Registration began this Thursday (January 16). To apply for vacancies in the Brazilian Navy as a Temporary Navy Corporal, the candidate must have completed secondary/technical training within the areas required by the notices of each of the naval districts.

In addition, those interested in the Navy selection process must be between 18 and 41 years old, in addition to being up to date with the electoral and military justice systems.

Below we have listed some of the areas accepted for those who wish to apply for vacancies in the Brazilian Navy:

  • Data Processing Technician;
  • Nursing Technician;
  • Dental Prosthesis Technician;
  • Electronics Technician;
  • Administration Technician;
  • Nutrition Technician;
  • Mechanical Technician;
  • Radiology Technician;
  • Building Technician;
  • Electronics technician;
  • Clinical Pathology Technician.

Candidates approved in the Brazilian Navy selection process will be incorporated for a minimum period of 12 months, which may be extended to a maximum period of 96 months or eight years. During this period, those approved will receive salaries that can reach R$3.866,50, including additional payments.

Applications for vacancies without a public exam for Temporary Corporals of the Navy will open this Thursday, January 16, and will remain available to interested parties until January 26, directly through the websites of the naval districts in which the candidate is interested in the vacancy.

The registration fee is R$70. The selection process for vacancies in the Brazilian Navy consists of an Objective Test, Verification of Biographical Data, Health Inspection, Proof of Qualifications, Document Verification, and Physical Aptitude Test for Entry (TAF-i).

It is worth mentioning that, in times of peace, a Marine corporal may serve as commander of small military units of around three sailors on missions, if he works in the Marine Corps, or performing services related to the preparation of ships and naval forces, if he works in the Navy Corps. In both cases, they may serve on land or on board, depending on the needs and instructions of the sergeants.
