Non-competitive vacancies in the Brazilian Army for candidates with complete primary education. Find out how to participate and what steps to follow in open positions.
The 5th Military Region of the Brazilian Army, which covers the states of Paraná and Santa Catarina, has open registration for vacancies without a competition. Interested parties can apply for the position of Temporary Corporals, lasting up to 8 years. This is a unique opportunity to join the Army without having to take a public exam. Requirements required to participate in the simplified process for vacancies without competition for the position of corporal
Candidates who have completed primary education and a professional course in one of the following areas can apply for vacancies without competitive examinations in the Brazilian Army:
- Automotive Electrician Assistant with proven experience of at least 1 year;
- Building Electrician Assistant with proven experience of at least 1 year;
- Bricklayer with proven experience of at least 1 year;
- Road Machine Operator with proven experience of at least 1 year;
- Diesel Engine Mechanic Assistant with proven experience of at least 1 year;
- Driver with Category “D” or “E” License;
- Automotive Tinsmith Assistant with proven experience of at least 1 year.
Other requirements for opportunities entry into the army include being born or naturalized Brazilian, being at least 19 years old by December 31, 2024, tbe at most 40 years old of age on the date of incorporation, as per item I of the 1st art. 27 of Law 4.375/64 (Military Service Law), included by Law 13.954/19, be up to date with Military Service, for male candidates, and up to date with the Electoral Court. Guide on how to apply for non-competitive vacancies in the Brazilian Army
The opportunities are intended for the entry of Temporary Corporals who must serve, if approved in the selection, for a minimum period of 12 months and a maximum of 96 months, or eight years. Those who are interested must register for free between July 01st and 15th, 2024 through the 5th RM website.
To register, you must register to fill in personal data and indicate the selection process, area of interest, choice of preferred military garrison and entry of curricular data. After registration, participants in non-competitive vacancies in the Brazilian Army will compete for the following stages:
- Curriculum Analysis;
- Practical Test, only for candidates in the Road Machine Operator Area of Interest;
- Presentation of Documentation and Proof of Titles;
- Health Inspection (IS);
- Physical Aptitude Exam (EAF);
- Complementary Health Inspection;
- Incorporation.
Main selection steps present in the army's simplified selection process
The Curriculum Analysis will be carried out by the Special Selection Committee and will be applied to the candidates with the best scores in each area of interest. The number of candidates analyzed is defined according to the needs and limitations of the Administration.
The practical test aims to verify, in candidates, the level of specific technical knowledge of the activities to be carried out after incorporation. This will only be applied to candidates in the Road Machine Operator Interest area with proven experience of at least 1 year.
Proof of carrying out activities must be provided in accordance with information in the notice. For experience, proof will be through presentation of the Employment and Social Security Card or a service/work contract that details the length of service, the position and the activities carried out.
Finally, only candidates judged suitable for the IS or ISGR will take the Physical Fitness Exam (EAF). The exam consists of push-ups on the floor, overhead sit-ups, free running in a time of 12 minutes.
