Brazilian Army opens new selection process with vacancies for candidates with higher education: vacancies without a public exam offer salaries of up to R$11 thousand per month!

The Brazilian Army is accepting applications for a new selection process with vacancies without a public exam. The vacancies in the Brazilian Army are for Temporary Technical Officers to join through Voluntary Military Service. In this article, we will detail the entire selection process, vacancies and requirements for participation.

How do temporary vacancies without a competition work?

The 1988 Constitution established the obligation of all Brazilian male citizens to perform military service, as well as the conditions for such service. The purpose of performing temporary military service through a selection process is to prepare and qualify a reserve of citizens who are ready to be mobilized and called up when the constitutional and legal reasons justifying such measures occur.

On the other hand, from the point of view of fiscal responsibility of Armed forces Brazilians, maintaining a full complement of career military personnel would result in a very large expense and investment for the Brazilian state, and could directly affect the entire society that would have to bear this high cost.

Another point that should be highlighted is the length of service provided for temporary positions in the Brazilian Army. According to the Military Service Law of 1966, the maximum period of temporary military service is eight years, with extensions every year. This period can be interrupted and resumed by the soldier throughout his or her career.

To apply for a position in the Brazilian Army, candidates must be Brazilian-born, under 40 years of age, and have completed higher education in the areas established in the Notice. All positions without a competitive examination in the selection process are for the 8th Military Region, which includes the states of Pará, Maranhão, and part of the state of Tocantins. The minimum period of service is 12 months and the maximum is 96 months.

Among the professions accepted for the position of Temporary Officer are Social Communication – Journalism, Social Communication – Public Relations and History. Applications for the selection process for vacancies in the Brazilian Army are now open and must be made through the website of the 8th Military Region.

The registration fee is R$50 and the selection consists of TAF with exercises such as Abdominal Supra, being 20 repetitions for men and 14 for women (no time limit), Push-ups on the floor: 10 repetitions for men and 6 for women (no time limit) and free running of at least 1.600 meters for women and 1.800 meters for men, in up to 12 minutes.

Understand the benefits of being a temporary military member

Those who are accepted into the Brazilian Army have many benefits when compared to employees in private sector companies. Security, above-market salaries, stability, predictability and, most importantly, the opportunity to serve and represent Brazil, even in other countries, are some of the advantages of joining the Armed Forces.

Temporary military service can also be used as a stepping stone for citizens who wish to dedicate themselves to further studies, in specializations, undergraduate or postgraduate courses, among others. The work regime of military units varies according to the purpose of the unit.

The units dedicated to training other military personnel, such as the Agulhas Negras Military Academy (AMAN), Air Force Academy (AFA), Naval School (EN) and the Air Force Instruction and Adaptation Center (CIAAR), are great places for citizens who want to work and apply themselves to their studies, as they have different schedules.

Starting salary of 11.000,00 is a lie, the salary of a second lieutenant is 8.00/, the IR eats 10.5% plus some discounts. In other words, you earn less than a soldier of any PM. LOL
