Vale, one of the largest mining companies in the world, is offering an unmissable opportunity for recent graduates who want to start a promising career.

The company opened registrations this Tuesday (13) for its long-awaited Trainee Program 2025, with more than 40 vacancies available in several strategic areas.

With the promise of professional development, market-compatible salaries and a series of attractive benefits, the program promises to attract ambitious candidates seeking growth in an innovative and sustainable environment.

O Vale Trainee Program 2025 is mainly aimed at the company's operations in the states of Pará and Maranhão, focusing on mining, projects and base metals.

The mining giant seeks to attract recently graduated talent, offering not only a job opportunity, but a true professional transformation platform.

According to Vale, the objective is to provide “technical development and leadership skills for future professionals who are willing to evolve and contribute to increasingly sustainable mining”. Registration is open until September 19, 2024 and can be completed on the company's official website.

A promising future with attractive benefits

Vale highlights that the trainee program is not limited to a job offer, but is also an opportunity to be part of a company committed to sustainable transformation and socioeconomic development in the regions where it operates. Mining plays a crucial role in the energy transition and global decarbonization, and Vale is at the forefront of this movement.

In addition to the competitive salary, selected trainees will have access to a wide range of benefits, such as profit sharing (PLR), moving allowance, private pension plan, medical and dental assistance, food vouchers, meals at the workplace , group life insurance, daycare assistance, Gympass, and the Employee Assistance Program (Apoiar). These benefits make the program even more attractive to young professionals looking for stability and development.

Continuous development and inclusion

With a development journey that lasts 12 months, the program offers 70% practical learning. Trainees will face real challenges and participate in projects that will directly impact the company's operations. In 2024, for example, 57% of the trainees selected in Brazil were women, and 66% identified themselves as black or mixed race, highlighting Vale's commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Eduarda Fernandes, civil engineer and current trainee at Vale, shared her experience, stating that “working at Vale has been a daily evolution of learning and, mainly, of self-knowledge. Every day I am positively challenged, overcoming my personal and professional barriers”, she highlights.

Prerequisites and stages of the selection process

Interested candidates must have completed a higher education course in engineering or geology between December 2021 and December 2024. There is no age limit, and no prior professional experience is required. The vacancies are for in-person work at Vale units in Pará and Maranhão.

The selection process will take place between August and December 2024, with initial stages online and an in-person panel in the final stage. Hiring of those selected is scheduled for January and February 2025.

Other opportunities in the valley

In addition to the trainee vacancies, Vale started the month of August with more than 100 job opportunities in various regions of the country for various positions. These vacancies cover different areas of activity and offer candidates the chance to join one of the most important companies in Brazil.
