Brazilian Navy opens registrations for public tender at QTPA for operation of submarines and nuclear installations

According to jcconcursos, the Brazil's navy announced the opening of registrations for the public tender do Technical Framework for Armada Squares (QTPA). This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking for a solid and well-paid career in the Armed Forces. Several vacancies are available for professionals with mid-level technical training, ready to work in operation and maintenance of submarines, in addition to nuclear installations.

Competition tests and stages

However, the first phase of the competition is scheduled for September 15th and will consist of an objective test with 50 multiple questions choice over professional knowledge, in addition to a redaction. The tests will be administered in 20 different cities, including:

  • Rio de Janeiro, Angra dos Reis, Nova Friburgo e San Pedro da Aldeia (RJ);
  • São Paulo e Santos (SP);
  • Rio Grande e Porto Alegre (LOL);
  • Brasilia (DF);
  • Vila Velha (ES);
  • Belo Horizonte (MG);
  • Salvador (BA);
  • Christmas (RN);
  • Olinda (FOOT);
  • Fortaleza (CE);
  • Bethlehem (SHOVEL);
  • São Luís (BAD);
  • Florianópolis (SC);
  • Ladario (MS);
  • Manaus (AM).

In addition, the other stages of selection include health inspection, physical fitness test, psychological assessment and biographical data/document verification. The course is scheduled to start on June 30, 2025.

Public tender details

As vacancies are aimed at candidates of both sexes, aged between 18 and 25 years until June 30, 2025. Interested parties must have technical training in one of the following areas:

  • Electrical Engineering: 5 vacancies
  • Mechanical Engineering: 6 vacancies

Therefore, during the training course, which will take place at the Almirante Alexandrino Instruction Center (CIAA) in Rio de Janeiro, successful candidates will receive a remuneration of R$1.414. After graduation, the salary as a third sergeant will be R$3.825, plus extras.
