The first factory in C-Pack-Creative Packaging is already operating in the city of Bragança, in the north of Portugal. According to information from Jornal JN, around 120 vacancies are being created in Portugal by the Brazilian company.

The new factory with job vacancies to work in Portugal occupies 10 lots in the industrial zone of the city of Bragança and, to be created, is the result of an investment of 20 milhões de euros. In this way, the construction has financing from Compete-Portugal 2020 and is working, built from scratch, in record time, considering that the foundation stone dates from April 2023 and, currently, the factory is already in operation and in search of workers.

According to Augusto Oliveira, director of the C-Pack-Creative Packaging factory, there is already a team of 23 people and By the end of the year the expectation is to have close to 40 job vacancies filled, however, the total project will be around 120 when the factory is at full steam. Furthermore, Oliveira states that the Brazilian company already has customers and is making deliveries to Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and French brands.

It is important to remember that C-Pack-Creative Packaging emerged in 2002 in the city of São José, in Santa Catarina, and specializes in the development and production of packaging. In fact, the company's focus is on the production of plastic packaging for the cosmetics sector. In this way, it has large clients in Brazil and abroad such as Johnson & Johnson, Avon, Natura, Boticário, Mary Kay, among other brands.

Bragança City Hall speaks out about the factory

The mayor of Bragança, Paulo Xavier, is placing great hope in the investment that offers job opportunities to work in Portugal and states that the expectation is because it is strategic for the region, generating more wealth and employability. Furthermore, the Portuguese municipality's investment of around 4,5 million euros makes it possible to expand the industrial zone and create 46 new lots.

In this way, for Xavier, it is possible to see that there is a return. 30 have already been sold, which means an investment of 50 million euros. In the short term, with the new companies, 300 jobs will be created, which at export level could mean 120 million euros.
