São Paulo City Hall announces a public competition with vacancies for secondary and higher education levels, offering salaries above R$3,5.

Recently, the City of São Paulo, capital of the state of the same name, announced the opening of a new public competition, aiming to fill 924 effective vacancies for the Municipal Department of Education. The available vacancies, aimed at mid-level candidates, include positions for Educational Technical Assistant and Early Childhood Education Teacher.

O notice no. 01/2023 of the City of São Paulo offers 566 vacancies for the position of Technical Education Assistant. Selected candidates will have a 40-hour work week and will receive a salary of R$1.782,94, plus a supplementary allowance of R$999,56. To compete, you must have completed high school or have professional technical training, in addition to being at least 18 years old, among other requirements.

O Technical Education Assistant performs important functions, such as controlling students' arrival and departure times, reporting incidents to management and teachers, carrying out administrative tasks, participating in extracurricular activities and providing first aid in low-severity situations.

On the other hand, notice no. 02 includes 358 vacancies for the position of Early Childhood Teacher. Candidates must have specific qualifications for teaching in secondary level, full degree in Pedagogy or normal higher education course.

Once approved, these professionals will work a 30-hour week and will receive a salary of R$3.498,20, plus a supplementary allowance of R$922,35. Responsibilities include welcoming children, caring for hygiene, food, rest, assistance in preparing pedagogical planning, preparing teaching material and developing recreational activities.

For those interested in the vacancies mentioned above, registration is open exclusively online, through Vunesp website, organizer of the public competition for the City of São Paulo.

The registration period begins at 10am on November 8, 2023 and ends at 23:50pm on December 4, 2023. During registration, you will need to pay the registration fee, which varies between R$65 and R$ 67. Candidates who meet the criteria established in the notice may request exemption from this fee between the November 8th and 10th, 2023.

The selection of candidates will be carried out through an objective test and a discursive test, scheduled for January 14, 2024, in addition to a qualifications evaluation.

The objective test for those registered in notice no. 01 will cover Portuguese language, mathematics, notions of technology and specific knowledge. For notice no. 02, the test will include questions about general and specific knowledge.
