The opening of applications for the new competition for the City Hall of Maués – AM was announced on Friday (7). The public competition offers vacancies in the City Hall, in addition to a reserve list. This selection process is a unique opportunity for those seeking a solid and stable career.
List of vacancies in the city hall opened in public competition
The city hall competition includes positions at elementary and higher levels, with salaries between R$1.299,31 and R$1.518. Among the opportunities open in the selection process are:
Urban Area: Opportunities for professors in the following areas: Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education – Initial Years, Inclusive Education and specific disciplines, including Mathematics, Portuguese, English, Physical Education, History and Geography.

In addition to these requirements, candidates interested in the selection process for vacancies at the City Hall must be Brazilian-born or naturalized, in accordance with the law, be at least 18 years old on the date of taking office, be up to date with military obligations (if male), be in good physical and mental health to perform the role, proven by an official medical evaluation carried out by professionals designated by the City Hall, have no criminal record in the last 5 years, have not been dismissed or discharged from public service as a result of an administrative process, among others.
Applications for the public competition remain open until March
Registration will be open between the days February 12 and 14, 2025, at the time of 8 am - 12 pm and 14 am - 17 pm, and must be carried out in person na Salum de Almeida Municipal School, located in St. John Street, Ramalho Junior.
The selection process will consist of two steps:
Bond valuation – Only candidates who meet the minimum requirements will move on to this stage, which consists of analyzing and scoring titles and certificates, according to the criteria established in the notice.
Document analysis – Assessment of the documents presented by the candidates to verify compliance with the minimum requirements, with an eliminatory nature.
City Hall competition tests
The public competition will include an objective test, which aims to assess the candidate's level of theoretical knowledge, necessary for the performance of the duties of the position, and a practical test, to assess the candidate's level of knowledge and skills through the demonstration of the activities inherent to the position, respecting the program content described in the competition notice at the city hall.
Composed of 40 questions, the objective test is scheduled for March 16th and will last two hours.
There is no city of Maués in SP.
