Main Duties of the Training Teacher
The teacher trainer has a series of responsibilities. Among them, it is believed to be essential to make all stages of the guidance process available on the Moodle platform, which is the Virtual Learning Environment adopted. The teacher trainer will also have the role of developing the teaching activities aimed at capacity of coordinators, teachers and tutors using the resources and methods of the outlined training plan. Participating in the guidance activities of the course's curricular subjects is equally essential.
In addition, educators are expected to participate in working groups that develop distance learning methodologies, promoting a collaborative and innovative teaching environment. Participation and participation in training activities, focusing on improving the use of distance learning platforms provided by the educational institution, is another pillar of their responsibilities.

External professors may apply as stipulated in article 20 of CAPES Ordinance 309/2024. Complete higher education and a doctorate are mandatory, in addition to proof of at least one year of experience in higher education, which must be demonstrated through the Lattes CV and additional documents. It is essential to be available to fulfill the duties listed in item 2.2, following the work schedule established by the course coordinator.
Remuneration and Working Hours
The remuneration for the role of teacher trainer will be provided by means of a UAB/CAPES scholarship, with the monthly amount set at R$1.850,00. The number of scholarships to be received depends on the workload of the subject in question, with 1 month of scholarship associated with every 15 complete class hours. The teacher trainer will be entitled to receive one quota per month, with a maximum limit of six quotas, regardless of the format in which the subject is offered.
