Constellation ground wells in the Amazon

The expectation is that 1.000 jobs will be generated in Roraima and another 1.000 jobs in Amazonas in this first phase of the undertaking.

In the state of Amazonas, Constellation's Probe VIII began operating its contract with Eneva for the drilling of wells in Campo de Azulão. The announcement was made on the company's social network profile, this afternoon of Thursday, October 17th. The company is making a comeback, this same month the company announced the reactivation of the Gold Star probe to fulfill contracts with Petrobras.

The company declares, “It is a pleasure for us to be able to contribute to Eneva's project for the development and production of gas for energy generation by the new Jaguatirica II thermoelectric plant, to be installed by Eneva, in the municipality of Boa Vista, Roraima”.

Constellation reinforces its presence in the Amazon, where it operates since 1987 with emphasis and success in remote operations, where it has already participated in more than 200 campaigns involving drilling and intervention in wells, with deep experience in the operational and logistical challenges of the region.

“Two Brazilian companies in partnership to increase national energy production” highlights the companhia.

Eneva starts exploring natural gas that will generate 2 jobs

Earlier this month, the Eneva began installing equipment for drilling and exploring natural gas in the states of Roraima and Amazonas. The area is located between the municipalities of Silves and Itapiranga, in the Azulão natural gas field.

The natural gas complex in the Azulão field is a project in which Techint was contracted to build the Jaguatirica II thermoelectric plant in Boa Vista, Roraima, and which also includes the construction of a natural gas treatment unit, which will be built by Eneva and a liquefaction terminal.

Eneva estimates that 1.000 jobs will be generated in Roraima and another 1.000 jobs in Amazonas in this first phase of the project.

"This means increased revenue for the municipalities of Silves and Itapiranga, which will also be entitled to royalties, as well as the State will also be entitled to these royalties and also to the collection of ICMS". said the governor of Amazonas.
