With an initial salary of up to R$10.400,56, the selection promises to offer 800 career vacancies, 600 of which are for immediate provision and 200 for reserve registration.
The anxious wait for concurseiros is coming to an end, with the state's Secretary of Penitentiary Administration, Mauro Albuquerque, confirming the proximity of the publication of the notice.

With the contract already signed, the only barrier to publishing the notice is the final adjustments, which are in progress.
Secretary Mauro Albuquerque's statement, mentioning that the notice is “in the oven”, further encouraged the candidates, who are now preparing intensely for the demanding stages of the selection process.
How many vacancies are there in the competition?
The distribution of the 800 places between men and women, as well as between the different types of competition, reveals careful planning of the competition.
With 680 vacancies for men and 120 for women, the competition aims to ensure that both genders have the opportunity to join the Ceará Penal Police.
This division extends to both immediate vacancies as for those on the reserve register, including broad competition, quotas for black people and people with disabilities, in addition to division by sex.
How much does a Criminal Police Officer earn?
The attractive remuneration offered to approved in the competition it also piques the interest of candidates.
With a basic salary plus the Special and Risk Activities Bonus (GAER) of 60% of the base salary, initial earnings reach R$4.206,28.
In addition, benefits such as food allowance and nighttime bonus are guaranteed, the latter corresponding to 25% of the daytime hourly rate for work carried out between 22pm and 5am the following day.
