Result raises questions about Cybertruck's traction capacity in extreme stress situations
The Tesla Cybertruck recently faced a curious challenge: a tug-of-war against a diesel-powered Chevrolet Silverado. The result was surprising and didn't even end as expected.
Clash of the titans disappoints
Competitions between vehicles, especially involving electric models, always attract attention.
A tug of war seems to be the ultimate test of strength and endurance. This time, the channelo YouTube Cyber Hooligan decided to put the Cybertruck face to face with the Silverado, in a dispute that promised to be intense.

Looking at the two trucks, many bet on the Cybertruck's futuristic and robust look as a natural advantage.
First attempts frustrate the public
In the first round of the tug of war, the Silverado won easily. The scene was repeated in the second attempt, frustrating those who expected a more balanced duel.
In the third round, a change was made: the Silverado was parked in the parking lot, with no one behind the wheel. Even so, the Cybertruck struggled.
Despite having started to pull the diesel truck, the Cybertruck soon lost power, got stuck and ended up rolling backwards, ending the dispute unexpectedly.
Technical problem hampered performance
The reason for the failure caught attention. It appeared that some safety device in the Cybertruck had come into action when the vehicle began to be pulled backwards.
The system cut off all power, turning the Cybertruck into a tractionless, unwieldy load. Even without a driver, the Silverado managed to hold off the Tesla long enough to demonstrate the problem.
Performance raises questions for Tesla
The episode made it clear that, at least in this kind of extreme situation, the Cybertruck still has limitations.
The partial victory only happened when the opponent was stationary and without active control. This performance raises questions about the Cybertruck's current setup for brute force testing.
Tesla is expected to investigate what caused the power outage and look for improvements to prevent similar failures from happening again in the future.
While winning a tug-of-war isn’t the main goal of a car, these tests do serve to demonstrate how robust a vehicle can be in unusual conditions. For the Cybertruck, this was a reminder that there’s still room for improvement.

Cars were not designed to do tug of war, nonsense
If it depends on strength and durability, even a Fiat Uno would pull this Tesla!!!!
