The City of Jacareí, in partnership with SESI, is offering 240 places on free gastronomy courses, ideal for those who want to learn new recipes or qualify in the area. The classes will be held in a SESI Mobile Unit, offering courses that range from food handling to festive desserts, ensuring practical and flavorful learning.
Free courses aim to promote a diet healthier and more accessible, with a focus on culinary techniques that make full use of food. The initiative is the result of a partnership with the company Festpan and other local entities, at no cost to the public coffers, and also seeks to stimulate the local economy through professional training.
Practical and accessible training for all tastes
With the Eat Well Program, the City Hall and SESI are offering a series of short courses, each lasting three hours, that cover specific topics to facilitate learning and ensure that students leave ready to apply new techniques. Among the courses, there are options for those who want to learn how to make desserts, pies, cakes and even prepare for the end-of-year festivities.

The SESI Mobile Unit, where the courses will be held, is located at the Festpan company, located on the Geraldo Scavone Highway, in Jardim Califórnia. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and each course has 30 students. Any resident of Jacareí, aged 14 or older, can register, including for more than one course, increasing the chances of diversifying their knowledge in the kitchen.
