O Federal Institute of Pernambuco (IFPE) published the notice of the Simplified Selection Process for Teacher Trainer of the courses offered by the Open University System of Brazil (UAB).
This selection is linked to the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), of the the Ministry of Education (MEC):. The main objective is select distance tutors to work in the distance learning modality in various courses offered by IFPE.

Application requirements
To apply, you must meet some requirements:
- Be born or naturalized Brazilian
- Be up to date with electoral obligations
- Have at least 1 year of teaching experience in primary or higher education
- Have higher-level academic training as per the notice
- Not be a student of the course for which you are applying for Distance Tutoring
- Not be linked to another scholarship program, except for CAPES or CNPq postgraduate programs
- Be in effective teaching position in the public education network or linked to teacher training programs for basic education
Registration and Fees
As inscriptions will be open from 09/09/2024 to 23/09/2024, exclusively via the internet on the website http://selecoes.ead.ifpe.edu.br/. The registration fee is R$30,00, to be paid at Banco do Brasil Branches between 09/09/2024 and 24/09/2024.
fee exemption will be granted to members of the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico) and low-income families, in accordance with Decree No. 11.016, of March 29, 2022. The result of the exemption request will be published on the same website on 16/09/2024 at 18 pm.
Classification and results
A qualifying score will be based on curriculum analysis, with a maximum score of 100 points. The preliminary result will be released on 21/10/2024, with the possibility of lodging appeals the following day, 22/10/2024. The final result will be published on 24/10/2024.

It is unbelievable how much teachers are undervalued! Offering a scholarship of R$1.100,00 is an affront to the dignity of those who have studied for a degree, completed a specialization course and have already worked for a year in a higher education institution! It is not even the minimum wage! How much did a professional like this have to invest in his career to receive a humiliating proposal like this? The situation of the lack of appreciation for the profession of educator in Brazil is regrettable!
Being a teacher in Brazil is the same as being nothing. Nothing is more valuable than being a teacher. Until there is real appreciation, we will not make any concrete progress in social matters.
Mercy!!! A selection process that wants qualified teachers, with specialization and even with a doctorate to pay a humiliating 1100 reais! What is this devaluation of professionals???
