The Federal University of Sergipe (UFS) has just opened a notice with registrations for the 2024 Entrance Exam in the Distance Education (EAD) modality. With 1.300 places distributed across various online courses (EAD), this is your chance to earn a diploma without having to leave home. Registration runs from August 19th to 23rd, 2024 and can be done exclusively through the UFS website.
UFS offers a wide range of distance learning undergraduate courses, all accredited by the Ministry of Education. The vacancies are distributed in centers located in the municipalities of Arauá, Brejo Grande, Estância, Lagarto, Nossa Senhora das Dores, Nossa Senhora da Glória, Poço Verde, Porto da Folha, São Cristóvão and São Domingos. This strategic distribution allows students from different regions to have access to quality higher education.

Who can participate and requirements
To participate in the UFS EAD 2024 Entrance Exam, candidates must meet some basic requirements. Those who have completed high school or equivalent can apply. In addition, there are vacancies reserved for self-declared black, brown or indigenous candidates, people with disabilities, graduates of public schools and public school teachers. Candidates who wish to request exemption from the registration fee must be registered in the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico).
Selection process, important dates and enrollment
The selection process will consist of objective tests and an essay, which will be held on September 29, 2024. The tests will be administered at Cidade Universitária Prof. José Aloísio de Campos, in São Cristóvão, and in other educational institutions in Aracaju, if necessary. Candidates must obtain at least 20% correct answers in the objective questions and not fail in the essay to be classified.
It is essential to pay attention to important dates in the selection process. Registration runs from August 19 to 23, 2024, and the tests will be held on September 29, 2024. The result of the analysis of exemption requests will be released on August 16, 2024, and exempt candidates must confirm their registration between August 19 and 23, 2024. The registration of classified candidates will be carried out by the Department of Academic Administration (DAA) of UFS, according to the notice to be published by the Dean of Undergraduate Studies (PROGRAD).
Registrations
Registration for online undergraduate courses must be made exclusively via the UFS website between August 19th and 23rd, 2024. The registration fee is R$40,00, and payment must be made by August 26, 2024.
