The Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) is accepting applications for more than 1.150 places on distance learning undergraduate courses for 2025, including Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Accounting.

For the first semester of 2025, UFRJ offers, through the CEDERJ Consortium, free distance learning undergraduate courses in different regions of the state of Rio de Janeiro.

Application process and requirements

Registration is open until November 24, 2024, and the entire process is done exclusively online, through the UFRJ portal.

The registration fee costs R$89,90, an amount that helps cover the administrative costs of the selection process.

The selection of candidates will take place in two stages:

  1. Objective Test: composed of 45 multiple choice questions, based on high school content;
  2. Writing Test: an argumentative essay, where the candidate must demonstrate his/her ability to express himself/herself and argue.

The final score is defined by the sum of the scores for the objective and essay tests, with the dates and information detailed in the official competition notice.
