Exemption from the registration fee: a benefit that can be yours

The IFMG brought important news for those who wish to request the registration fee exemption.

From this year onwards, proof of income will be done exclusively through the Single Registry (CadÚnico). This change promises to simplify the process and ensure more transparency in the selection of candidates.

Candidates have until the day September 13 to request the exemption, using the selection process registration system.

Simply fill out the Registration Form in the “registration fee exemption” menu and attach the necessary documents. It is crucial to carefully read the notices to understand the criteria and requirements to guarantee this benefit.

Available vacancies: which is the best option for you?

With a total offer of 4.665 vacancies, the IFMG distributed 3.334 vacancies among the 68 technical courses integrated into high school and subsequent courses e 1.330 places for 54 undergraduate courses. This is your chance to choose the course that best aligns with your professional goals.

For those who have completed or are about to complete Elementary School, the integrated technical courses are an excellent option. They combine high school with technical training, offering the student a professional qualification while completing basic education.

Selection process: choice options and classifications

During the selection process, the candidate can choose up to three course options. However, it is important to be aware of the classification rules:

  • Classification in 1st Option: If you are classified within the number of places in your first option, you will be automatically excluded from the lists of other options.
  • Classification in 2st Option: If you are not classified in the first option, but have enough points for the second, you will occupy that place and will be excluded from the other lists.
  • Classification in 3st Option: If you do not get a place in the first two options, but are classified in the third, that will be the place you will occupy.
  • Exceedance in all options: If you are not classified in any of the three options, you will still be able to compete for the excess places in your first choice.

Pay attention to the rules: withdrawal is not an option

During the selection process at the Federal Institute, The candidate will not be allowed to give up the vacancy for which he/she was called, even if it is in surplus condition in other options.
