Registration is now open for free online undergraduate courses at the Instituto Federal-IFSul. Qualify in areas such as production engineering, administration and internet systems
The Instituto Federal Sul-Rio-Grandense (IFSul) is accepting applications for undergraduate courses in the online modality (EAD), as per Notice no. 150/2024. There are several vacancies for courses such as Administration, Production Engineering, Environmental Management, Tourism Management, School Processes and Internet Systems, available for the first semester of 2025. These free courses, which are part of the Open University of Brazil (UAB) program, represent an excellent opportunity for professional training.
The main objective of free undergraduate courses is to qualify professionals for the market, with training focused on strategic areas. The programs are offered online (EAD), with mandatory in-person activities, totaling a workload that varies according to the chosen course. Activities include theoretical and practical classes, forums, seminars and assessments, ensuring robust and external training for professional practice.

In total, several vacancies are offered, distributed among the face-to-face centers in different cities of Rio Grande do Sul. The undergraduate courses available are:

- Technology in Tourism Management : centers in Encantado, Gramado, Picada Café, Sant'Ana do Livramento, Santana da Boa Vista, Santo Antônio da Patrol and Sapucaia do Sul.
- Technology in School Processes : hubs in Esteio, Black Coal, Quarai, Rosary of the South, São Gabriel and São Sepé.
- Internet Systems Technology : hubs in Novo Hamburgo, Picada Café, Rosario do Sul, São Francisco de Paula, São Lourenço do Sul and Sobradinho.
Selection process and affirmative actions
The selection process for the Instituto Federal-IFSul will be carried out based on the ENEM score, allowing the participation of candidates who took the exam in 2021, 2022 or 2023. In addition, the notice reserves 50% of the vacancies for graduates of public schools, also including candidates who declare themselves to be black, brown, indigenous, quilombola and people with disabilities, according to quota categories provided by the MEC.
Application requirements
To participate, candidates must have completed high school and meet the selection process criteria, including presenting identity documents and proof of education. Distance learning courses do not require access to the internet or a computer to follow online classes and activities.
Selection process schedule
- Registrations : from October 30 to November 22, 2024
- Homologation of Registrations : November 29 of 2024
- Disclosure of the Final Result : December 3, 2024
- Tuition : according to guidelines and data published on the IFSul website after the result
