Tsinghua University, located in Beijing (China), has opened applications for the Schwarzman Scholars program, which offers scholarships in China for professional master's degrees. The year-long initiative aims to build a global community of future leaders that will serve to deepen understanding between China and the world.

How the program offered by the University of China works for Brazilians?

Scholarships in China cover all master's costs and include air tickets to the Asian country, housing on the university campus, food, health insurance and a personal computer. There is also an additional amount to cover additional living expenses and travel in China.

The structure of the scholarship program in China is immersive and students interact with each other inside and outside the classroom. All costs are covered. The dormitories where Scholars live are in the same building within Tsinghua, meals and study times are held together.

In addition to traditional classes, participants in the China University program also have access to lectures, a mentoring program, and can have the opportunity to participate in internships, visits, excursions and develop projects together with local companies and organizations.

Focusing on global integration, the program's advisory board includes figures such as former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, as well as presidents and former presidents of Yale and Duke universities.

In the program, scholars at China University have the opportunity to have contact with an influential network of international leaders from various sectors, both during lectures and extracurricular activities.

Advantages of studying in China and taking advantage of scholarships abroad

It is worth mentioning that Tsinghua University is considered the best in China and is among the 20 best in the world, according to the QS Ranking. In Brazil, when a student gets a scholarship, they are generally more restricted to the local market after completing the course. Furthermore, it is common for scholarships in Brazil to cover only part of the costs, requiring the student to cover the other part, without offering many additional benefits.

On the other hand, scholarships abroad provide a significant advantage for those who want to build an international career. Many of these scholarships cover costs more comprehensively, and some even finance 100% of expenses. Furthermore, it is common for foreign institutions to offer extra benefits, such as student accommodation, a special visa, and the possibility of working during studies, which can be an excellent opportunity to supplement your income and gain professional experience.
