According to the Bahian Federal Institute, there are 180 vacancies distributed equally between the courses of agriculture and agroecology.
Each course offers 90 places, and all of them are taught at the Valença campus, located in the lower south of Bahia.
Registration is free and can be done until November 8, 2024, either online, through IF Baiano selection process website, or in person on campus, on specific days and times. Check below:
- second: from 14h to 17h
- Wednesdays: from 9h to 12h
- Farms: from 14h to 17h
If you want to guarantee your place, It is important not to leave it until the last minute. Registration requires filling out a form and attaching the documentation required by the notice.
It is essential to pay attention to all the details, since the selection is made based on grades from the 8th year of Elementary School.
The averages of subjects such as Portuguese, mathematics, history, science and geography will be taken into account when calculating the final grade.
How long is the technical course?
Technical courses in agriculture and agroecology have a minimum duration of three years and are aimed at young people who want to qualify while they are in high school.

Students may choose up to two course modalities at the time of registration.
