Did you know that it is possible to make a free technical course remotely? The Federal Institute of Brasília (IFB) has just opened registrations for more than a thousand places in technical, face-to-face and distance learning (EAD) courses, starting in the second half of this year. Registration, which is completely free, began this Monday (15/7) and runs until August 2, via the IFB selection process website. You available courses They cover various areas, such as security, technology, logistics, mechanics, agriculture, cooking, gastronomy, secretarial services, crafts and much more. Details of vacancies and selection processes

According to the Federal Institute of Brasília, 25 courses are available in nine IFB units: Ceilândia, Estrutural, Gama, Planaltina, Recanto das Emas, Riacho Fundo, Samambaia, São Sebastião and Taguatinga. The selection of candidates will be carried out through an electronic draw, ensuring transparency and equal opportunities for all registrants.

The courses last one and a half years and are offered in three modalities:

  1. Subsequent: For those who have already completed high school.
  2. Project: For students who are completing their stage in Youth and Adult Education.
  3. Concomitant: For agricultural education students.

Quota system: inclusion and diversity

The IFB is also committed to social inclusion and diversity. In addition to broad competition, the institute offers places through a quota system for different groups:

  • Disabled people
  • Public school students
  • Black, brown, indigenous and quilombola people
  • Members of the family farming system
  • Employees of the Federal District Education Department
  • Candidates with family income less than the minimum wage

To prove eligibility for quotas, it is necessary to send documents such as a medical report, socioeconomic assessment form or self-declaration of racial recognition, as specified in the selection notice.
