Federal Institute opens selection process for Substitute Chemistry Professor at the Cascavel Campus with temporary vacancies and reserve registration.

The new one is in the air selective process from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Paraná (IFPR), which aims to fill a temporary position as a Substitute Professor in the area of ​​Chemistry at the Cascavel Campus. Notice no. 56/2024 was recently published and offers an opportunity for candidates interested in working in higher education. Remuneration varies depending on the candidate's title. The contract will begin upon signature and can be extended according to the institution's needs, with a maximum duration of two years.

Details of the selection process

Entries for the selective process will be open from August 26th and will last until 23pm on September 13th, 2024.

The registration fee is R$51,19, but candidates who meet the criteria specified in the notice will be able to request fee exemption between August 26th and 30th, 2024.

The vacancy offered is for the position of Substitute Professor in the area of ​​Chemistry. The gross monthly remuneration will be R$3.412,63 for candidates with a degree.

Those with the title of Specialist will receive R$3.924,53; those with a Master's degree, R$4.692,37; and those with a Doctorate degree, R$ 6.356,02.

The contract will be signed upon signature and may be extended according to the institution's needs, with a maximum legal term of two years.

Federal Institute Requirements and Registration

To participate in the selection process, candidates must have a degree in Chemistry.

A team includes a didactic test and a qualifications test, the scoring of which will be detailed in the notice. The didactic test is scheduled for September 26th and 27th, 2024.

The notice also establishes tiebreaker criteria, where, in the event of a tie between candidates, preference will be given first to those aged 60 or over, then to those with the highest score in the didactic test, and finally to older candidates.

Furthermore, the selection process will be valid for one year, counting from the publication of the approval notice in the Official Gazette of the Union.

During this period, IFPR may use the reservation register to fill other vacancies that may arise on the Cascavel Campus.

Federal Institute tests and evaluation criteria

O selective process will be divided into two main stages: the didactic test and the evaluation of titles.

The didactic test will be held on the 26th and 27th of September and will assess the candidate's ability to teach classes in the Chemistry discipline.

The evaluation of titles, in turn, will consider academic training and other relevant qualifications, according to the criteria established in the notice.

In the event of a tie between candidates with the same qualifications, the order of preference will be defined by age, giving an advantage to the oldest candidate if they are 60 years old or over.

If there is still a tie, the score in the didactic test will be considered, and, if necessary, age will be the final criterion to break the tie.
