With opportunities spread across Belo Horizonte, Contagem and Betim, Senac offers free professional training in areas such as fashion, technology and customer service.

Senac launched 1.200 vacancies for free qualification courses, with the aim of promoting professional development and meeting the market's growing demand for qualified labor. The opportunities cover the units in Belo Horizonte (in the Barro Preto and Venda Nova neighborhoods), Contagem and Betim, offering training in areas such as technology, fashion, gastronomy, customer service, among others.

These free courses are a unique opportunity for those who want to improve your resume and open doors in the job market. With a format focused on practical classes and a modern structure, the courses have equipped laboratories and teaching spaces that promote hands-on learning, that is, with practical activities that bring the student closer to the reality of the market.

Free professional qualification: opportunities for everyone

Senac offers these free courses through two main programs: Senac+ and the Senac Free Program (PSG). At Senac+, vacancies are intended for people referred by companies in the commerce, services and tourism sectors, as well as associations that serve vulnerable groups.. PSG is focused on candidates whose per capita family income is up to two minimum wages, ensuring that opportunities are truly accessible to everyone.

The president of the Fecomércio MG, Sesc and Senac System, Nadim Donato, highlighted the importance of actions like this for the economic development of the region. “Our commitment to workforce qualification is a fundamental step towards the advancement of commerce and services in Minas Gerais. We want to accelerate professional training, providing quality and accessible education,” says Donato.

    • Skin cleansing (25/11 – morning)

  • PSG

Those courses were designed to meet to the main demands of the Commerce and Services sectors, which have faced difficulties in filling vacancies due to the lack of qualified labor. Senac aims to fill this gap by offering technical training that aligns theory and practice, in addition to an immersive teaching experience.

How the selection process works

To apply for the vacancies, interested parties must meet some specific requirements. In the case of the Senac Free Education Program (PSG), it is necessary to prove a per capita family income of up to two minimum wages, and documents such as ID, CPF, proof of residence and education must be presented at the time of registration.

The courses are divided between the Senac+ and PSG programs, allowing different profiles of students and workers to participate. At Senac+, for example, vacancies are indicated by companies in the sector and partner entities, especially serving young people in vulnerable situations and workers seeking to update themselves for the job market.

Classes take place in different shifts – morning, afternoon and evening – and are scheduled to start between October and December 2024. During classes, participants will have access to modern equipment and practical activities that simulate the real work environment.
