IFPR opens selection of distance learning tutors for specialization
According to the Federal Institute of Paraná, the 2024 Selection Process for Distance Education (EAD) tutors is now open for applications.
Notice 68/2024 provides for the hiring of 17 tutors for Lato Sensu specialization courses, focused on Professional and Technological Education.
The program will be led by the Open University of Brazil (UAB), one of the most prestigious initiatives in the educational field in the country.
Responsibilities of an EAD tutor: much more than monitoring students
According to the IFPR, tutors’ duties go beyond monitoring classes. They are the key link between faculty and students., responsible for ensuring that the course's pedagogical project is fulfilled.
In addition, they must prepare monthly reports on the activities carried out, participate in training courses on the use of the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA) and apply assessments.
