Responsibilities of the engineer in energy management
The selected engineer will be responsible for planning, analyzing, and implementing strategies for managing power generation assets, focusing on hydroelectric, wind, and solar power plants. Key responsibilities include:
Develop reliability plans and maintenance strategies;
Apply advanced methodologies, such as Reliability-Centered Maintenance e Life Cycle Cost Analysis;
Monitor performance indicators (KPIs) and use technological resources, including artificial intelligence for operational analysis;
Conduct equipment lifecycle studies and develop guidelines for the asset lifecycle;
Participate in technical audits and act in accordance with international standards such as ISO 55000, ISO 9000 and ISO 31000.
Furthermore, the engineer must represent Eletrobras in sector forums, technical associations and regulatory bodies, reinforcing the company's strategic role in the Brazilian electricity sector.
Professional profile and job vacancy requirements
To apply for the engineering position, a completed higher education degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required, as well as availability for travel and field presence.
Desirable differences include:
Postgraduate or MBA in Asset Management, Reliability Engineering or Projects;
Mastery of tools such as SAP-PM / SAP 4HANA, Power BI e MS Project;
Experience in reliability management in different types of generation (hydroelectric, thermoelectric, wind and solar);
Technical leadership skills, efficient communication, and a systemic vision to work in an integrated manner with multidisciplinary teams.

Selection process and guidelines
During the selection process, a Physical Aptitude Test (TAF) may be requested, carried out in key cities depending on the location of the vacancy.

It is important to highlight that Eletrobras does not charge any fees for participation in stages of the selection process, exams or tests.
Travel to the TAF is the responsibility of the candidate, who must present a medical certificate issued up to 30 days before the test.
