In the commercial aviation segment, the region has one of the largest fleets of E-Jets in Asia-Pacific. Companies such as Alliance Airlines, Airnorth, National Jet Express and Air Kiribati operate these models.
Alliance Airlines, in particular, is the largest operator of E-Jets in Australia, serving domestic routes in partnership with Qantas.
Raul Villaron, Vice President of Embraer Commercial Aviation for Asia-Pacific, emphasizes the importance of the Australian market for the company.
He highlights Embraer’s long-term commitment to the region and believes that with the strong E-Jets operator base and the addition of the E190-E2 to Virgin Australia’s fleet, Embraer aircraft will continue to play a crucial role in connecting regions and driving economic growth across Australia.

Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the second half of 2025, and the fleet will be based in Perth, Western Australia.
The E190-E2 is recognized as the most fuel-efficient single-aisle aircraft with the lowest noise emissions in its category.
Its aerodynamic improvements, new wing design and advanced technologies deliver significant reductions in carbon emissions and fuel consumption.
The jet is certified to operate on blends of up to 50% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and has already demonstrated compatibility with 100% SAF in test flights.
Embraer is committed to developing products and technologies that contribute to the aviation industry’s goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
The E2 family of jets is part of this commitment, with full certification to operate on 100% SAF expected by 2030.
In addition to commercial aviation, Embraer Defense & Security will showcase its portfolio of aircraft and solutions at the Avalon Airshow, including the KC-390 Millennium.
Since its entry into service with the Brazilian Air Force in 2019, the KC-390 has demonstrated high capability, reliability and performance.
The current fleet has a mission availability rate of 93% and mission completion rates above 99%, demonstrating its exceptional productivity in the category.
Countries such as Portugal, Hungary, the Netherlands, Austria, the Czech Republic, the Republic of Korea, Sweden and Slovakia have already selected the KC-390 for their air forces, confirming the success of this innovative platform.
