The wind farm:
The new wind complex expands the company's business in the renewable energy sector and increases its offer in the free energy market. The Santo Agostinho wind farm is expected to invest around 2,2 billion reais and generate around 1.000 jobs in the area, with commercial operation expected for March 2023.
The first phase of the Santo Agostinho wind farm will have an installed capacity of 434 MW, and all the energy generated will be directed to the free energy market, which grows every year in Brazil.

Other Engie projects:
ENGIE has three other major works, which will generate more than 10 jobs. There are two transmission lines (Gralha Azul in Paraná and Novo Estado in Pará and Tocantins) and a wind farm (Campo Largo 2 in Bahia), which will start commercial operations this month.
