Operational efficiency – Located in Maragojipe, in the Recôncavo Baiano, the Enseada Private Use Terminal (TUP ENSEADA) has sheltered waters, deep draft and privileged location, which guarantees superior safety and efficiency in cargo handling.

TUP ENSEADA started operations in 2020 and in less than a year it has already stored and handled 308 tons of ores from mines in Bahia

TUP ENSEADA started operations in 2020 and in less than a year it has already stored and handled 308 tons of ores from mines in Bahia. “There were seven shipments of 44 tons each carried out with complete success by our team, which already makes us the largest ore port in operation in Bahia”, reveals Mário Moura, Director of Operations at Enseada.

Business Expansion – In recent years, ENSEADA underwent a strategic repositioning, expanding its operations beyond its naval and industrial vocation. Today, the company from Bahia offers integrated engineering solutions for naval and offshore, industrial and port-logistic projects.

For Maurício Almeida, president of ENSEADA, the company maintains its vocation of building offshore and industrial projects, but now it also starts to operate in the port segment, becoming a relevant player for the sector. The license marks the conclusion of a long process of nearly three years of work focused on diversifying ENSEADA's businesses beyond the shipbuilding and offshore sector.

“We repositioned the company and, in the midst of a serious pandemic, we returned to hiring and generating income. Today we offer our facilities to the national industry, in a convergent and competitive industrial agenda, which will result in value creation for our company and customers. In addition, it will implement a new route for exporting commodities from Bahia, generating development and opportunities for the Recôncavo region. All this with legal certainty, solid governance and a strong sustainability policy that set us apart”, summarizes Almeida.

Board of Directors of the Merchant Marine Fund approved the transfer of BRL 757,2 million to projects aimed at the naval sector

On July 02, 2020, the Board of Directors of the Merchant Marine Fund (CDFMM) approved the transfer of BRL 757,2 million to projects aimed at the naval sector.

Among the projects approved by the FMM, the construction of 2 container ships for the company Petrocity Portos with Enseada Indústria Naval, for the amount of R$ 308,6 million, is the object of a Memorandum of Understanding between the companies.

“We know that the shipbuilding industry is eager for good news, but it should be noted that the execution of the contract between Petrocity and Enseada depends on the approval of the FMM Financial Agents and, therefore, any predictions about new jobs that could be generated at the shipyard are premature. from Bahia”, said ENSEADA in his social profile.

According to the shipbuilding yard, ENSEADA is working with dedication and commitment to bring new business to its workers and suppliers, and future opportunities will be shared by Enseada's official media.
